October 20, 2023St. Boniface and St. Meinrad parishes will participate in the Angel Tree program this year to provide Christmas gifts to children in our area, through the North Spencer Community Action Center.
Beginning the weekend of November 4-5, the Angel Trees will be set up in both churches, with 20 angels on each tree. Each angel has the age of the child, clothing sizes, gift ideas, and other suggested essentials. If all the angels are taken off the tree and people would like to help, all toys are accepted. All gifts should remain unwrapped and include the angel and index card with the gifts.
Gifts must be returned by December 1. They can be brought to the sacristy before or after Mass. When delivering items, please use the handicap entrance at each church and place the items in the container at the Marian Altar. Because churches are open from dawn to dusk, it is not prudent to leave items in church at other times
