As we look ahead to 2025, here are five things that are being planned by the Pastoral Council and Parish Commissions for next year: 1.Deacon Mike and Father Anthony will return to visiting the homebound and infirm of our parish family during Advent and Lent, providing an opportunity for them to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and to be anointed. 2.Beginning in January, the second Saturday will be set aside for F3 Connect. A time for F3 families to gather for dinner and friendship after the 4 p.m. Mass. The parish will provide fried chicken and drinks, and F3 families are invited to bring a dish to share. Each gathering will have a theme and activities for families of all ages. 3.We will return to hosting a parish mission in 2025, in conjunction with the Jubilee Year and its theme of “Pilgrims of Hope.” 4.We are planning a pilgrimage to Fulda, Germany, and to Rome for the Jubilee Year. 5.Finally, possibly as soon as February, we plan to re-establish the St. Joseph the Worker Society, which connects parishioners with specialized skills with parishioners who need help with light chores or simple repairs and maintenance. Parishioners needing assistance or their caregivers and those who animated this ministry will be able to submit and reply to requests with a form available from the parish homepage.
