Do you have a problem hearing at Mass? Is it difficult to make out the words of the homily? For those who need hearing assistance at Mass, St. Boniface and St. Meinrad parishes provide Listen audio devices.
Recently, the device was upgraded to a new rechargeable version. An assistive listening system transmits audio directly from the source to the listener’s ear without amplifying ambient noise.
If you have an older assistive listening device, you will be contacted to set up a time to visit the Parish Office and trade it in for the newer version and get a brief demonstration. If a deceased member of your family had used a Listen device, you can return the device to the Parish Office. There is no charge for the devices, which are available through July 30.
For more information and office hours, contact Ms. Teresa Ippoliti, Office Assistant and Receptionist, at 812-357-6059 (voicemail).
