Observance Holy Days and Federal Holidays

The Parish Office is closed on these days in observance of Holy Days of Obligation and Federal Holidays. Holidays falling on Sunday are observed on Monday. Saturday holidays are observed on Saturday.

• Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, third Monday of January
• Wednesday before Easter, open 8 to 11:30 a.m.
• Sacred Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday)
• Monday after Easter Sunday
• Memorial Day, last Monday of May
• Juneteenth, June 19
• Independence Day, July 4
• Labor Day, first Monday in September
• Wednesday before Thanksgiving, open 8 to 11:30 a.m.
• Thanksgiving Day, fourth Thursday of November
• Friday after Thanksgiving
• Monday after Thanksgiving
• Immaculate Conception
• Day before Christmas Eve, open 8 to 11:30 a.m.
• Christmas Eve, December 24
• Christmas Day, December 25
• Week between Christmas and New Year's Day

All regular-time employees, including those on flexible or compressed work schedules, are entitled to an "in lieu of" holiday when a holiday falls on the employee's nonwork day. Part-time employees are not entitled to an "in lieu of" holiday. 

An employee is not entitled to another day off as an "in lieu of" holiday if a Federal office or facility is closed on a holiday because of a weather emergency or when employees are furloughed on a holiday.
