Below are samples of thank-you notes sent following a funeral.

We, the family of _____________, want to thank each and every one for the prayers, cards, food, and other expressions of sympathy. A very special thank you to Fr. Anthony Vinson, OSB, Deacon Mike Fish, Taylor Blalock (organist), Fran Schemenauer (cantor), seminarian Austin Young, the American Legion Auxiliary, St. Boniface Ladies Sodality, and all who made the service and funeral Mass very special.
 
We thank everyone who helped with the wonderful luncheon and provided dishes. Additional gratitude is offered to Mary Wagner and the Ladies Sodality. Thank you to Fr. Steve Donahue for administering her final sacrament of the sick.
