Setting the Date and Time
The anticipated Vigil Mass for Sunday is celebrated on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. with confessions beginning at 3:15 p.m. The Sacrament of Marriage is not celebrated on Saturday evening or Sunday. Your wedding celebration may be scheduled between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. on Friday, or between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. There is also the option of celebrating your marriage during the regularly scheduled weekend Mass. Please discuss these options with your pastor.

Traditionally, the Sacrament of Marriage is not celebrated during the liturgical seasons of Advent and Lent. Other times that the Sacrament of Marriage will not be celebrated are: the weekends of the St. Boniface Summer Picnic (1st Sunday of August) and the St. Meinrad Fall Picnic (3rd Sunday of September), as well as the patronal feast days of the parishes: St. Boniface (June 5) traditionally celebrated the 1st weekend of June, and St. Meinrad (January 21), traditionally celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of January.
