Important Guidelines:- All fundraising efforts by parish-sponsored organizations must be reviewed by the pastor and parish finance commission before announcements can be shared.
- When submitting, include a primary contact with an email address. This information will appear in publications. To reduce fraud risk, do not use personal mobile numbers.
- Fundraising announcements must state the purpose of the funds raised. If less than 100 percent of proceeds benefit the stated cause, a financial breakdown must be provided for all parish publications.
Donation Policy:- No parish staff member or representative will ever ask for a personal donation in the form of a gift card or other gift payment. All funds solicited to support any parish ministry, program or activity must be paid directly to the parish and will be noted on your annual giving statement. All funds received for approved events will be distributed upon receipt of the required documentation.
- All gifts, including non-cash gifts, will be acknowledged by the pastor or his delegate in accordance with Internal Revenue Service guidelines for faith-based nonprofit organizations to maintain proper records of donations received.

Fees and Insurance RequirementsRental FeesThere is a difference in the fee structure for parishioner and non-parishioner rental requests. A member of the parish staff will provide you with the appropriate fee structure for your event.Insurance RequirementsInsurance guidelines are set by the Office of Finance and Administrative Services of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. Required insurance documents will be specified based on your event type and requested facilities.

Bulletin deadline for items in writing is 11 a.m. on Monday. To submit your bulletin item, please complete the online form with the essential information requested to assist the parish staff in preparing to communicate and promote your event at www.sbcatholic.church/news-to-share/ and www.smcatholic.church/news-to-share/.
To best serve your needs, please submit all information to be featured on the news tab of the parish website and in an upcoming edition of the weekly bulletin two weeks before the scheduled activity. Bulletin announcements list for a maximum of three consecutive weeks.
The parish Sunday bulletin, One Family in Faith, is available at weekend Masses to inform parishioners of parish ministries, programs, and activities.
The weekly bulletin is printed on the Wednesday before the weekend of publication. Information submitted, once verified by a member of the parish staff, a pastoral council, or a commission chair, is featured on the news and events page of the parish website. The information may be available for viewing before the next scheduled printing of the weekly bulletin.
