The weekend of October 14-15 is the archdiocesan annual United Catholic Appeal (UCA) intention weekend for St. Boniface and St. Meinrad parishes. The goal for this year’s appeal is $6.3 million. The money will be distributed to various ministries and organizations throughout central and southern Indiana, providing help that no single parish or deanery could independently offer. In October, the Catholic Church in the United States celebrates Respect Life Month, and the first Sunday of October is designated as Respect Life Sunday. To support these annual observances, F3 (family faith formation) students will be offering flowers available for donation at all exits after weekend Masses on September 30 and October 1, 2023.
