St. John’s Lutheran Church will host a chicken and ham buffet on Saturday, June 8, beginning at 4 p.m. Meals are dine-in and carryout. A country store will also be available. The 2024 Bishop Simon Bruté Days will be held July 8-10 and Bishop Simon Bruté Days Jr. will be held on July 11 in Indianapolis. There are limited spots for junior high and high school boys, so timely registration is recommended. Click/tap heading for more information.

Perry County Bookmobile stops occur in all areas of the county. At these stops, a wide range of materials is available, including the newest books for adults and children, current and classic DVDs, magazines, and MiFi’s. You can also pick up books that were put on hold, return books, get a library card, and ask questions of the staff. The Perry County Bookmobile visits Adyeville from 9 to 9:45 a.m. every month. Communal Anointing of the Sick will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, during the 4:15 p.m. Mass at St. Meinrad Catholic Church. After a brief homily, individuals wishing to receive this sacrament move to the end of the pew on the center aisle.
